Yiannoukas Medical Laboratories (YML) was established in 1975 by Dr Nicos Yiannoukas. It is now run by both himself and his son Kyriacos Yiannoukas. YML is situated at close range from the city centre of Nicosia (Cyprus) and provides full service medical laboratory tests.

Over the years, YML offers its services from eight (8) other smaller sub-brunches in Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca. These act as sampling centres where the public can have blood taken. Samples are transferred fast and efficiently to the main Laboratory. There, a private consultation with Dr Yiannouka can be arranged.

YML employs a total number of 17 people. The Laboratory is accredited with the ISO 15189. Dr Yiannouka states “Our 'Quest for Excellence” will always be an achievable goal. We implement, maintain and improve our Laboratory's Quality System. All personnel implement the related policies and procedures in their work at all times.

The core business of YML is the provision of diagnostic analyses in clinical biochemistry, microbiology, virology, immunology, toxicology, parasitology, infectious diseases, allergy and other tests relevant to medicine. YML also offers diagnostic analyses in veterinary medicine. YML has also formed collaboration with NutriLab Cyprus and offer analyses in food, water and various consumers’ items. We also verify the authenticity of product content labels as well as carrying out specialist research and consulting projects such as environmental impact studies. The NutriLab Laboratory is accredited with the (ISO 17025).
