EKA GROUP is a multibusiness organisation operating in the building materials and systems markets of the construction sector.

The first company was established in Cyprus on 10th October 1946 with registration number 266. The initial field of activity was general building materials (steel, timber, cement, pipes, etc.) During the 60's the company expanded in the sanitary ware sector and later in the ceramic tiles sector.

By the 70's the company became the market leader in those sectors representing exclusively leading firms such as: Jacuzzi, Porcelanosa, Venis, Gardenia, Iris, Mirage, Buchtal, Inda etc.

During the 80's the company expanded with the creation of the Technical Division representing the most reputable firms in the areas of adhesives, waterproofing, sealants and specialised construction materials.. By the end of the 80's EKA gained the No.1 status in the adhesives and waterproofing sectors. Some of the companies which are exclusively represented by EKA are: Laticrete, Fibermesh, Index, Deflex, etc.

In 1991 the Group expanded in Greece by forming EKA HELLAS SA. The companies represented in Greece are: Laticrete, Wondercrete, Nullifire, Cafco, Liebert-Hiross, Nesite, Electrak, Electropatent and Tajima.

Also during the same year (EKA SWIMMING POOLS LTD) was created which sells and constructs prefabricated pools. Moreover they undertake major mechanical installations for large scale Swimming Pools and Spas.

In 1992 the group expanded in the area of interior office solutions representing companies in the following fields: Raised Floor / Nesite, Demoundable Partitions / Movinord, Underfloor airconditioning and distrubition of power.

In 2004 the group expanded into the UAE with two companies, EKA Building Systems LLC and EKA Theming Company LLC.
